6 Best Yoga Poses for a Stronger Core!!
Building a stronger core helps you maintain a strong foundation. Besides looking good there are some amazing benefits that you will get to experience over time.
Although some of these postures appear to be simple, the provide a good challenge that help you build up the strength you need without doing crunches.
Over the years of my yoga journey, I fell in love with some key poses that helps strengthen the core muscles. Having a strong core is important for your yoga practice.
Some benefits include:
Great posture
Stronger foundation
Improve Posture
Increase concentration
Contributes to feeling and looking good (my favorite)

Note: If this is new for you, Please consult with your doctor before performing any exercises.
Here are Six of my favorites yoga Poses (Check out the mini-flow at the end)
1. Utthita Chaturanga Dandasana/ High Plank
(This can be modified with adding a slight bend to the knees or resting the knee on the mat.)

2. Makara Dandasana/Low Plank pose/ Dolphin plank
(This can be modified with adding a slight bend to the knees or resting the knee on the mat.)

3. Vasisthasana/Side Plank pose

(This can be modified with adding a slight bend to the knees or resting the knee on the mat.)

5. Kick outs
Inhale : Supported Boat (resting your hands or finger tips at your sides)

Exhale: Jathara Sana/ Abdominal Lift Pose (extend your legs squeezing your thighs together.)
6. Parsva Navasana/ Revolved boat

Clasp hands together touching the ground as your rotate
Now it is your time to give these a try! Challenge yourself!
Hold each posture for a minimum of 30 seconds up to 90 seconds for 2-3 rounds.
Drink lots of water!
Remember Breathe ( Don't hold your breath)
