January Yoga Challenge
Welcome to January's Yoga Challenge Thankfully You
This challenge is a great way to introduce you to some foundation yoga postures and journal prompts to help you kickstart your mind and body for the new year.

This month I am offering a mini yoga challenge that you can practice along with. All you need is just 5-minutes a day to stretch daily. You can practice in the morning, evening or whenever it is convenient for you.
Make sure you practice in a space that is free from clutter and enough space for you to move freely.
Day #1 - Standing Postures
We will focus on the following 3 yoga postures or asanas: Mountain Pose, Upward Salute and Tree Pose.
You also will be provided with a daily journal prompt to write in your existing journal or digital journal.
Day #2 - Hip Mobility
We will focus on the following 3 yoga postures or asanas: Half Forward Fold, Warrior 1 and Warrior 2.

Day #3 - Hip Openers
We will focus on the following 3 yoga postures or asanas: Goddess Pose, Wide Forward Fold and Low Squat.
Day #4 - Seated and Folded Postures
We will focus on the following 3 yoga postures or asanas: Staff Pose and Forward Fold and Head to Knee Pose.
Day #5 - Seated Hip Openers
We will focus on the following 3 yoga postures or asanas: Bound Angle, Seated Wide Forward Fold and Spinal Twist.
Day #6 - Restorative Postures
We will focus on the following 3 yoga postures or asanas: Easy Pose, Reclined Knee to Chest and Corpse Pose.
Day #7 - Bring it all Together
We will focus on building a sequence with all 18 yoga postures or asanas from days 1-6. Feel free to practice as often as you like.
